Regretfully, Lily's bites while decreasing in frequency began increasing in fierceness. After a moderate bite on Thursday, Friday night delivered an extremely vicious unprovoked attack resulting in a trip to the Urgent Care Clinic.
It broke our heart, but we were left with no alternatives other than to have her put to sleep. We spent our final morning with her walking around the lake letting her sniff every leaf she wanted too. We stayed with her so my face and voice would be the last thing she would experience.
We only had her for a couple of months, but she had an impact on my heart that will never be forgotten. Jerry & I miss her terribly.
