The 2 guys we are fostering are coming along nicely and have received a good bit of interest. Here is the link to see all of our clubs rescues currently available for adoption: Pomeranian Club of Central Virginia's Adoptable Pet List I am going to miss my guys BamBam and Fizzgig, but know they will go to good homes.
Johnny was doing his math homework & saying: “2+5, the son of a bitch is 7” “3+6, the son of a bitch is 9...” His Mom : What are you doing? Johnny : I'm doing math homework. Mom : This is how your teacher taught you? Johnny : Yes Infuriated, Mom asked the teacher the next day - 'What are you teaching my son in math?'
A very poor man lived with his wife. One day, his wife, who had very long hair asked him to buy her a comb for her hair to grow well and to be well-groomed. The man felt very sorry and said no. He explained that he did not even have enough money to fix the strap of his watch he had just broken. She did not insist on her request. The man went to work and passed by a watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a low price and went to buy a comb for his wife. He came home in the evening with the comb in his hand ready to give to his wife. He was surprised when he saw his wife with a very short haircut. She had sold her hair and was holding a new watch band. Tears flowed simultaneously from their eyes, not for the futility of their actions, but for the reciprocity of their love. Moral - To love is nothing, to be loved is something but to love and to be loved by the one you love, that is everything.
Twas the day after Christmas,
and all through the house,
Every creature was hurtin', even the mouse.
The toys were all broken, their batteries dead;
Santa passed out, with some ice on his head.
Wrapping and ribbons just
covered the floor,
While upstairs the family continued to snore.
And I in my T-shirt, new Reeboks and jeans,
I went into the kitchen and started to clean.
When out on the lawn there
arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the sink to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the curtains, and threw up the sash.
WOW! I had totally forgotten that this song ever existed!
I haven't heard it in over 15 years and out of the blue Pandora played it in my mix and the memories came flooding back. I played this song over and over again when my best friend Michelle was killed in a car accident when I was 16 (the year the song was released) and again when my only other best friend, Kris, was killed in another automobile wreck 3 years later.
Of course back then I had it on cassette tape and wore it out pushing rewind, play, rewind, play until my finger was sore. I have since replaced it with the MP3 version and listen to it fondly. Lyrics Below
