Job seekers asked for Facebook passwords??
When Justin Bassett interviewed for a new job, he expected the usual questions about experience and references. So he was astonished when the interviewer asked for something else:
his Facebook username and password.

Animals Playing with iPads (not mine mind you)
These are simply too cute. I think my favorite is the Lizard going after the ants.
I guess I'm not as good of a mother as I thought, I do not let my boys play with my iPhone or my iPad... Though I might let them play with daddy's iPod, hmmmm. Maybe I'll play around with some apps and see if they like anything just for kicks.
The end of the clip shows the elephant using the stylus and a drawing App. I swear! It looks like to elephant IS trying to draw a picture of the other elephant standing off in front of him!

The New Office Puppy Is Cute Enough to Eat!

The New Office Puppy Is Cute Enough to Eat! But We Can't Do That, So...
This is the new office puppy. As you can see, she is !~@#$%^&*(*&^%. Yeah, those are the feelings I get when I look at her.
I also get a total uncontrollable desire to put her in my mouth. To protect her? To eat her? Im not really sure, but when I see her, I get so overwhelmed with how freaking cute she is that I want to fit her whole tiny little puppy body in my mouth.
Its weird, and I know that its totally inappropriate to want to eat my co-worker's dog, so instead Ive rounded up a bunch of really cute things that I can eat without getting fired and/or getting arrested.
OMD, these are the cutest furkin chocolates Ive ever seen. The Poodle? I die.
I need to have a box of these at all times on my desk. Assistant! Fetch me these NOW. (Just kidding. I dont have an assistant, but if I did, I would require fresh-cut flowers and dog-shaped chocolates on my desk daily.)

Emotionally Abusive Relationships, Not Just for Spouses
While the author of this list aimed it at romantically involved partners, emotional abuse can come in many forms from many people; Siblings, In-laws, Parents, Friends
In my case the emotional abuse came from mother and was made more damaging by the abandonment of my father. I realized that the only way I was ever going to be healthy & happy was to sever all ties completely. There is no law saying you have to put up with it because it's your parent. If that were the case, men wouldn't be able to divorce their entire family and start all over again with out a care in the world.
It took me a long time to accept that just because you couldn't see the bruises, didn't mean the pain was any less real.
Here is the list of 10 signs you may be in an emotionally abusive relationship, it doesn't take all 10, even 1 is reason to worry. I had 6 of these with my mother (2,3,5,7,8,9):
No matter how attractive, old or smart a person is, he or she can be a victim of emotional abuse. Here are some signs of an abusive partner or spouse. By Merely Me

- Emotionally abusive spouses want you all to themselves and make an effort to have it that way. They do not understand that you have a life outside of the relationship - one that includes family and friends. It is healthy and normal for you to hang out with other people as well, so if your partner prevents you from doing so, this may be a sign of an emotionally abusive relationship.

19 Signs That America Has Become A Control Freak Nation...
19 Signs That America Has Become A Control Freak Nation... — YOLO (you only live once)
The following are 19 signs that America has become a crazy control freak nation where almost everything is illegal….
#1 One California town is actually considering making it illegal to smoke in your own backyard.
#2 In Louisiana, a church was recently ordered to stop giving out water because it did not have a permit to do so.
#3 In the United States it is illegal to operate a train that does not have an “F” painted on the front. Apparently without that “F” we all might not know where the front of the train is.
#4 In many U.S. states is it now illegal to collect rain that falls from the sky on to your own property.
#5 In America today it is illegal to milk your cow and sell the milk to your neighbor. If you do this, there is a good chance that federal agents will raid your home at the crack of dawn.
#6 In Washington D.C. it is illegal not to recycle cat litter.
#7 It is illegal to give a tour of the monuments in Washington D.C. without a license.
#8 In the United States it is illegal to sell natural cures for cancer – even if they work.
#9 In the state of Massachusetts it is illegal to deface a milk carton.

As our 13th Anniversary comes to a close...
You're everything I wanted and hoped you would be
You're the very best thing that's ever happened to me
Because of you I know who I am
I know where I'm going
I sure it was meant for me to love you
and just as sure it was meant for you too
My greatest wish is always be together
To find each other all over again
and know this is forever
So thank you for choosing me to share you're life
and even more for being you're wife

What's wrong with Congress? It's not big enough!

What's wrong with Congress? It's not big enough - CNN.com
By Brian Flynn , Special to CNN
New York (CNN) -- In this age of bitter partisanship, it is not surprising that congressional approval ratings are at an all-time low. But how did our national legislature get to the point where only 10% of Americans approve of its actions?
The answer: Congress no longer represents the will of the people, and it hasn't for a very long time. The House of Representatives has become another U.S. Senate where a rarefied few supposedly represent the needs of the many. And that's the main reason that hyper-partisanship and special interests seem to control the legislative agenda. We have all been disenfranchised.
A quick trip back to fifth grade history class reminds us that the House of Representatives was established as the lower house, intended to be "of the people," according to James Madison. It was to ensure that individual citizens had a voice in federal legislation while the Senate was meant to be more deliberative and represent the interest of the states. But population growth has cut the ties between representatives and those they represent. A seat in the House of Representatives has gone from representing 33,000 people to more than 700,000 today. America basically has two upper houses of Congress with less and less representation of the people. The reason is as cynical as you might imagine: Self-interest and power. It is in the interest of individual members of Congress and the two political parties to maintain this status quo.

Do I really hate talking on the phone, or is it just you?
For those of you that may have thought I just don't like talking to you on the phone and not talking on the phone in general, I offer proof!
Here is a screenshot of this past months phone bill, and it was a slightly higher than average month for me:
I also don't email a whole lot. So how do I communicate you wonder? Mainly via FB or my favorite Google Talk!!
Jerry and I use Google Talk because you can have a real time conversation like regular IM, but you can also just type in a message and you can respond whenever you have time. It keeps us from bugging one another while we're at work. There's nothing worse than calling someone when they are in an important meeting.
